2026 - 2027 School year 4K Enrollment

Point 4 the Future 4K enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year is now open!

Enrollment for the 4-Year-Old Kindergarten (4K) program takes place online through Skyward Family Access.  Students must be 4 years-old on or before September 1, 2026 in order to be enrolled in 4K for the 2026-2027 school year. There is no early entrance into 4K.

Please review the 4K Point 4 the Future class times prior to beginning the online enrollment process.

4K Community site locations will be communicated to families by the end of May via US Mail. 

If you live outside the Stevens Point Area Public School District and would like to Open Enroll to the Stevens Point School District, please continue to our Open Enrollment webpage for more information. In addition, you will need to complete one of the enrollments mentioned below in Skyward.

Please Note:

  1. Select 4K as the Expected Grade Level.  Failure to complete this step will delay the processing of your child's 4K enrollment.

  2. 4K enrollments will be processed in the order they are received. If enrollment is not completed fully, enrollments will be delayed.  Site availability is limited at all 4K locations to ensure optimum student:teacher ratios.

  3. Confirmation letters for those students registered will receive their confirmation letters by the beginning of April.  Students enrolled in the 4K program for the 2026-2027 school year after March 6th will receive their confirmation letters 2-4 weeks after the District receives their 4K registration applications.

  4. Final 4K community site location letters will be sent by the end of May.

  5. Requested Documents upload: Before the start of school ALL enrollments require address and birth verification. For convenience you may upload your address verification, custody paperwork if needed, and birth verification. They can also be brought into Bliss Educational Services at 1900 Polk St. Stevens Point, WI  54481. You may also email to ahaferma@pointschools.net. If you choose not to upload these documents at the time of enrollment you may move forward and click on Complete Step 4 to Step 5: Additional District Forms.

 

EXISTING Family Enrollment

If you are an EXISTING family, with one or more students currently enrolled in the Stevens Point Area Public School District, please review the EXISTING Family Enrollment TUTORIAL and use your current Skyward Family Access login credentials to enroll your student.

Transportation

Please refer to the 2025-2026 4K Class Times and Transportation Options (busing) for 4K class times and transportation offered during the 2025-2026 school year prior to enrolling.

The Stevens Point Area Public School District (SPAPSD) 4-Year-Old Kindergarten (4K) Program is a community based 4K program. If the student wishes to utilize District Transportation (busing) to and from the 4K site, the student must attend a 4K site that lies within the transportation boundary of the address they will be bused to and from.

For example: If the student will be bused to and/or from childcare, the student must attend a 4K site based on the childcare's address. If the student is not utilizing District Transportation (self-transporting), students may be registered to attend any 4K site based on the available space.
