What 4K Looks Like
4K classrooms are structured around play, exploration, and hands-on learning. Children engage in activities that build early literacy and math skills while also developing social skills, independence, and emotional awareness. Each day includes predictable routines, time for movement and creativity, and opportunities for children to learn how to be part of a classroom community. Our experienced educators support each child’s growth while honoring where they are developmentally, recognizing that every learner arrives with different strengths and needs.
Who is 4K For
The 4K program is available to children who are four years old by September 1 of the school year and reside within the district. The program is designed for families seeking a supportive introduction to school that emphasizes relationships, readiness, and a positive first experience with learning. Participation in 4K is optional, and families are encouraged to choose the option that feels like the best fit for their child and family.

January 26, 2026: Enrollment Opens
4K enrollment opens. Families complete the enrollment process online and select their preferred program option. To ensure a smooth experience, we recommend having your child's birth certificate and proof of residency ready before you begin the digital application.
Spring–Summer: Connect & Prepare
4K will connect with enrolled families, share additional information, and provide opportunities to ask questions and prepare for the upcoming school year. We use this time to build a bridge between home and school, ensuring you feel confident and informed well before September arrives.
Fall: The Big Start
4K begins. Children are welcomed into classrooms where routines, relationships, and learning grow from day one. As your child enters their new classroom, our focus is on creating a sense of belonging and joy through social-emotional discovery. This marks the beginning of a wonderful educational journey where every day is an opportunity for your child to wonder, play, and grow.
